Todd Michael Johns, Sr., 36 of Red Lake, MN, began his journey to the spirit world on December 31, 2021, at the Red Lake Hospital.

Todd was born on October 9, 1985, to Michelle Johns and Douglas "Oscar" King, Sr. He was raised in Mpls., Bemidji, and Red Lake. He attended school in Bemidji.

Todd loved to fish all year round, he loved to cook for his kids and others. He loved spending time with his children. He liked to help others and was always there to help anyone, he liked to fix different things and shovel snow and clear roofs. He enjoyed being busy all the time. He loved the outdoors, going to casinos, and scratch off tickets.

Todd worked at the Red Lake Fisheries for a few years off and on, he worked as security at the Thief River Falls Casino and he did construction for a short time.

Todd is survived by his mother, Michelle Johns of Red Lake; step father, John (Isabelle) Wind of Brooklyn Center and his dad, Douglas "Oscar" King, Sr. of Redby; Sons: Todd Johns, Jr., Hallie and Simon Johns; Daughters: Aniah Johns and Aunalise Roy; Special friend, Natasha Cournoyer; Siblings: Kaeley King and Douglas King, Jr. and his dog Jackson and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Todd is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Simon Johns and Mary (Joseph) Johns; paternal grandparents: Lenard King and Sharon (Charles) Barrett; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Active Pallbearers are Joseph Fairbanks, Jr., Clint Donnell, Darren King, Anthony King, Douglas King, Jr., and Dillion Johns with alternates Francis Brun, III and Bruce Johns.

A wake will start on Monday, January 10, 2022 at the new Red Lake Center until the funeral at 1pm on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 all being held at the new Red Lake Center in Red Lake. Burial will be at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake, MN on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
