Aaron Lee Bohn of the Bullhead Clan, age 34, of Wilton, Minnesota began his spiritual journey on Monday, January 3rd, 2022. He was born in Crookston, MN, the son of Daryl Bohn and Candy Strand on December 4th, 1987.

Aaron was raised in Grand Forks, ND until 1997 when his family moved to Bemidji. He attended Bemidji schools and went on to work for the 7 Clans Casino in Red Lake as a slot technician for seven years. Aaron also did construction work in Fargo, ND and most recently he did maintenance work for The Inn on Madeline Island in Bayfield, WI.

Aaron was very athletic and enjoyed lifting weights, jogging, and exercising. He was a M.M.A. fighter with a 5-1 record until an injury ended his career. He loved the outdoors, going on cross country adventures, hiking and site-seeing. He took awesome pictures everywhere he went. Aaron liked to golf, fish, play basketball and football. Viking Sunday and fantasy football was a favorite family activity and pastime. Aaron had an easy-going personality, respectful and helpful whenever he could be. He loved to joke around and laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; he especially cherished the time he spent with his children. He loved them all very much and was proud to be their dad.

The family that Aaron joins again are his mother; Candy Strand, brother; Mike Bohn, grandmothers; Mary Bohn and Agnes Benedix, grandfathers; Peter Bohn and Ronald Strand, uncle; Randy Bohn, Sr. and cousin; Bobbi Jo Bohn.

Those left to remember him are his father and mom; Daryl and Amber Bohn of Wilton, sons; Cordelle Bohn of Solway, and Chance Bohn of Minneapolis, daughters; Cecily Nindaanis Martin of Bayfield, WI and Aalayah Morrison-Bohn of Red Lake, brothers; Devin and Darrion Bohn of Wilton, sister; Brittney (Brennan Dudley) Strand of Bemidji, uncles; Donald, Brian and Dale Bohn, aunts; Carol Strand-Johnson, Tina Goulet, Joline Silversmith, Amy Comegan, Melanie, Ann and Stephanie Buck Shot, nephews; Kane and Duane Dudley and a niece expected in February, Aleida Jenkins-Bohn.

Wake services for Aaron will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11th and continue until his 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Thursday, January 13th all to be held at the Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah, MN. Zac Earley will be his Spiritual Advisor. Helping to lay Aaron to rest are Devin Bohn, Darrion Bohn, Randy Bohn, Jr., Timi White, Evan Ten Bears, Mike Hatton, Bezhiganakwad Hardy, Robert Lussier, Jr., Clint Amberson and Todd Anderson. His honorary pallbearers are Karen Saunders, Barbie Saunders, Debbie Saunders, Sherry Christenson, Robert "Chops" Handorgan, Kayla Margl, Kaycie Basswood, Gabriella Martin, Robyn Dudley, Brett Brun, Dave Barrett, Nolan Williams, Mirranda Morrison, Anisia Rustland, Joe Fear, Delwin Brown, Ty Anderson, Rob BegsHisOwn and many more friends. Interment will be in the Maquambay Family Burial Grounds at Ponemah, MN following his services.
