She was born on April 23, 1968 in Minneapolis the daughter of Daniel Bruce Sr. and Donna Jones.

Darla Lee was a strong, stubborn, loving, caring and comedic woman. She enjoyed playing bingo and doing scratch offs, although she didn't win very much. Darla enjoyed quality time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Terra Roy, Angela Bruce, Arnoldo Bruce, Alex Bruce and Alicia Bruce; her grandchildren: Alaina Bruce, Isaiah Roy, Douglas Eagle Jr., Isaac Roy, Brandon Roy Jr., Arnoldo Bruce Jr., Damoni Eagle, Michael Smith, Madeline Smith and Aryanna Bruce; siblings: Daniel Bruce Jr., Debra Bruce, Diana Bruce, Deana Bruce, Kevin Bruce Sr. and Carrie Bruce; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her son Brandon Roy, her parents Daniel Bruce Sr. and Donna Jones and by siblings Jimmy Bruce and Danita Bruce.
