Anthony Lee Smith, age 31, of Pine River, MN journeyed to the spirit world on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021. He was born on March 4, 1990, in Bemidji, MN, the son of Stacey Smith and Darryl Moose.

Anthony graduated high school from Cass Lake-Bena High School. He liked to go fishing, go to the casino, draw, which he was an amazing artist, read, listen to music, especially Tech N9ne. He liked to play games, 10,000 dice game and jail house Yahtzee were of his favorites. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed teasing and joking. He could walk into the room and have everyone laughing in no time. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Anthony is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Theresa Smith and Hazel Smith; aunties, Sonya Smith and Charlotte Banks-Wagner; uncles, Dennis Banks and Mark Banks and stepdad, Jason "Barney" Robinson.

Those left behind to cherish the memory of Anthony are his mom, Stacey Smith of Cass Lake, MN; dad, Darryl Moose of WI; daughters, Adoniya Smith and Hazel Smith of Bemidji; brothers, Derrick Smith of Minneapolis, MN, and Brennen Moose, WI; sisters, Billie Jean (Joshua) Wipper of Pine River, Cari Fisher of St. Paul, MN, Kimberly Robinson and Rose (Jon) Robinson of Cass Lake, Darrian Moose, Gaylyn Moose, and Destanie Anderson all of Mille Lacs Lake, MN, and Brittany Moose of WI; aunties, Jackie Moose, Maureen Moose, Lavette Moose, Corinna Moose, and Shelby Shadley; nephews, Malachi, Logan, Cole, DeChayne, Roy, Jr., Elijah, Xander, Christopher, Harlow, Carter, and Baby Jon III; nieces, Jennifer, Harmony, Bailey, and Sandy.

An overnight wake for Anthony will begin Friday, December 10, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. and continue until his Saturday service at 10:00 a.m. all to be held at the Onigum Community Center in Onigum, MN. Anthony's Spiritual Advisor will be Allen Hardy. Those helping to lay Anthony to rest will be Joshua Wipper, Jon Schneider, Jr., Randall Richardson, Marvin Strong, Jr., Malachi Wipper, and Jim Morales. Honorary pallbearers are his mom, Stacey Smith, sisters, Billie Jean Wipper, Rose, and Kimberly Robinson, all his family and friends. Interment will be in the St. John' s Episcopal Cemetery in Old Agency, MN.
