Roderick Selam "Sauce" McKenzie, age 52, of the Bear Clan and Redby, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, from the Red Lake IHS in Red Lake, MN. He was born in Bemidji, MN on February 12, 1969, the son of Roberta (Head) and Clem McKenzie.

Roderick attended school in Red Lake, MN, and Wahpeton, ND, later receiving his GED, and then attended MN Tech-auto and Red Lake Nation Tribal College. "Sauce" was the life of the party.
