4th Annual Heroes and Helpers Event took place at Walmart - P2

A statement from the Bemidji Police Department:

On December 1st, 2021, our 4th Annual Heroes and Helpers Event took place at Walmart in Bemidji! We were able to shop with 28 children, providing each of them $100 to spend however they wanted. Often times, we watched these children selflessly purchase gifts for members of their families before themselves.

Our Hero volunteers included members of the Bemidji Police Department, Beltrami County Sheriff's Office, Bemidji Ambulance service, Bemidji Fire Department, and Minnesota State Patrol. Our Helpers consisted of Bemidji Lion's Club members, Bemidji First City Lion's Club members and Walmart Bemidji employees!

This event brings so much joy every year and we are so thankful to our sponsors who make this event possible.
