DISTRICT II REPRESENTATIVE KATHY GOODWIN RESIGNS FROM WHITE EARTH RBC

WHITE EARTH, MN (November 23, 2021) – District II Representative Kathy Goodwin resigned her position on the White Earth Reservation Business Committee ("RBC") effective November 19, 2021. Elected to the RBC in 2014, Representative Goodwin served the people of the White Earth Reservation with honor and distinction for the duration of her time in office. Chairman Michael Fairbanks and the rest of the RBC wish to thank Representative Goodwin for her years of service and sacrifice to the people of White Earth. While the RBC members regret Representative Goodwin's decision to resign, they each wish her the best on her healing and recovery journey.

"Our prayers remain with Kathy and her family during this time," said Chairman Fairbanks.

The RBC will address Representative Goodwin's resignation at its next meeting and announce its decision regarding the District II seat for the remainder of Representative Goodwin's unexpired term in accordance with the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe Election Ordinance.
