William Lawrence Butcher, age 81 of Ponsford, MN passed away on November 11,2021 at Vibra Hospital in Fargo, ND.

William, also known as Boye Peake was born on February 8, 1940 to Robert Tejohn and Josephine Peake. William grew up in Ponsford, MN and went to Park Rapids High School, after graduating he attended Detroit Lakes Technical College to pursue a career as a chef. He worked as a chef for many years at shooting star casino. In 1980 he left the village to change his life for the better, he became sober and a role model for others. He was the worlds best uncle to many nieces and nephews. William loved to go for drives, play pool, and spend time with family and friends. He was a big joker and very much a people person.

William is survived by many nieces and nephews and preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and son Lawrence.
