Francis "Tuna" David Connor
January 26, 1960 - October 20, 2021
Francis "Tuna" David Connor passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at his home in Tower, MN. He was born January 26th, 1960 in Cook, MN to Lawrence and Olive (Villebrun) Connor.
Tuna was a bright spirited individual and would befriend almost anyone he would meet. He had an infectious smile and was always cracking jokes and laughing like a mallard. Tuna served in the US Army for 4 years and spent most of his time stationed in Germany. He worked over 20 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator with the local 49ers. Tuna's hobbies were fishing, watching sports with friends, and playing bingo. He enjoyed going to concerts. Most importantly, he was a great son, father, sibling, uncle and friend.
He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Connor Sr.; his brothers: Loren "Hawk" Connor, and Alden "Ottie" Connor; and nephew Josh Rutar.
Tuna is survived by his mother Olive Connor; children: David Connor and Vanessa Connor; step children: John Kingbird and Dylan Fee; granddaughters: Andreanna and Kylie; siblings: Lawrence "Tejon" Connor Jr; Lois "Coke" (Howard "Daddy Dean") Graham, Annamarie Dorr, Darrell "Pete" Connor, Karen Connor, Kay Connor, Kelly Rutar, Ruth Connor; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Wake will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 starting at 5:00PM at the Bois Forte Government and Service Center. The Traditional Service will be held the next day on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 10:00AM, also at the center.
