Donald Charles "Chief" Munnell, age 78, of Ball club, MN, passed away on Thursday October 7, 2021, with his family by his side.

Donald was born April 5, 1943 in Cass Lake, MN. Donald was an avid reader, who loved to play Scrabble, watch Jeopardy, going to the casino and attending family get-togethers. Donald was a logger in his early years, he test drove cars and was a shuttle driver for Leech Lake Gaming in his later years.

Preceded in death by: mother Susan Harstad, Step Father Edson Harstad, Brother Kenneth "Duke" Brunelle & Two Grandsons.

He will be sadly missed by: Daughters Sheila (Donald) Gotchie & Gina (Stuart) Munnell, Sons Kenneth (Jodee) Munnell & Thomas Munnell, Grandchildren Jeremy, Heather, Kari, Savannah, Jessica, Stuart Jr., Ashley, Tara & Mariah.

Pallbearers will be Donald Gotchie, Jeremy Gotchie, Stuart Smith Jr. , Beau Morgan, Duane Bebeau, Josh Deegan & Roger Durant. Honorary Pallbearers are Jeff Sherman, Stuart Smith Sr. & all of Donald's Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren
