Michael Dean Goose, 51, "Wi ni geshig" which means "Dark Sky" of the Bear Clan and from Minneapolis, Minnesota began his journey to the spirit world from his home on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021. Mike was born in Cass Lake, MN on September 15, 1970, the son of Roxanne Goose and Burton Gibbs.

Throughout Mike's young life he lived in several places, Cass Lake, Duluth, Fargo, ND and most recently in Minneapolis. He attended Central High School in Duluth and went on to study at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Mike became a roofing contractor and worked for Pine Wood Shinglers from 1999 to 2003. He enjoyed reading, playing cards, poker and dice (ten thousand). Mike loved his Minnesota Vikings almost as much as he loved visiting with his family and his "cuzins". It was Mike's love of drawing that found him belonging to the Minneapolis Bomb Crew "beautifying" the city with his graffiti.

He is welcomed to the spirit world by his parents; Roxanne and Burton, brother; Matthew Goose, grandpa; Michael Goose, Sr., aunts; Bonita Bruce and Veronica Goose-Lyons, uncles; Sam and Larry Goose, cousins; Marlo Mesarina and Vivian Staples, other family members and some friends.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his sons; Randall Jones and Talon Pierre, aunties; Georgia Faye and Tina Goodman, nieces; Bridget Pierre, Jaydon, Avianna and Amora, nephew; Aiden Matthew, cousins; Angie Reyes, Vanessa Goose, Carrie Bruce and Jeanne Goose, Godson; Cory Hoffman, mother of his son; Candace Pierre, many other relatives and friends.

An overnight wake for Mike will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 3rd and continue until his 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Monday, October 4th all to be held at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Cass Lake, MN. Allen Hardy will be his Spiritual Advisor. Pallbearers for Mike will be Jeff Goose, Jr., Calvin TeJohn, Landon Libby, Curtis Hoffman III, Timothy Tallman, DuWayne Jones and Skylar Basina. His honorary pallbearers are Roderick Goose, Candace Pierre, Jeff Goose, Sr., Dana Dick, Cory Hoffman, Mike Escobedo and all his friends and relatives. Interment will be next to his mother, Roxanne, in the Morgan Cemetery at Cass Lake, MN.
