Bridget Renae Stately "Ozhawanaquad" (Yellow Bird), age 45, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021, at her home.

Bridget was born January 31, 1976, to the late Myrna Stately and George Garcia. She grew up in Red Lake, Minnesota, and graduated from Red Lake High School. Bridget worked at Seven Clans Casino, Hotel and Indoor Waterpark in Thief River Falls. She enjoyed cooking, watching TV, listening to country music on her phone, watching Netflix, and most of all being with her boyfriend Gerry Blackbird.

Bridget will be greatly missed by her boyfriend Gerry Blackbird; children Aleicia (David) Held, Elizabeth Lussier and Marcus Stately; brothers Arnold (Lisa) Stately and Allen English, Sr; sister Tammi Stately; nephews Dustin Stately, Raymond Stately, Christopher Stately, Anthony Smith and Shawn Stately; niece Ashley Stately; aunts LaVonne Infante, Marge Garcia, Margaret Johnson, and Charlotte Johnson; and uncle Darrell Stately. She was preceded in death by her mother Myrna Stately, father George Garcia; grandparents Leona Stately, Frank Stately Sr. and Ennis Johnson; and several aunts and uncles.

A wake for Bridget will begin Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 2:00pm at the Redby Center, Redby, MN, and will continue until the service on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 11:00am. Officiating will be Fr. John Christianson. Pallbearers will be Dustin Stately, Raymond Stately, Christopher Stately, Anthony Smith, Corey Stately, Mike Cook, Adrian Stately, and Frank Stately III. Honorary pallbearers will be Allison Cook, Tori Lussier, Charmaine Sayers, Charlene Siddens, Marlys Smith, Lisa Stately, Karen Donnell, Sheila Erickson, LaVonne Infante, Cherai Stately, and Theresa Lussier. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Red Lake, MN.

Arrangements are being provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service of Walker, Minnesota.
