PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Data Manager is responsible for all data collection, reporting, and evaluation requirements of the Pediatric Mental Health project. This position reports to and works closely with Project Director to respond to the grant report needs, quality and program data reporting and analytics efforts, and leads the implementation of quality improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity in both collection and reporting. They will gather and analyze data from a variety of sources, identify trends and provide clinical insights for program and quality improvement. The Evaluator will develop dashboards and reports that focus attention on key information and facilitate a shared understanding of data trends and themes. This position reports to the Program Manager. Full-Time position with benefits, Salary; DOQ

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Designs, develops, tests and produces standard and/or ad hoc data and quality reports as requested by the management team

• Documents and effectively communicates clinical data findings using advanced data visualization skills. Design research data collection methods and advise research and grant projects to ensure data is being collected for outcome reporting

• Monitors data workflows and identifies process, system, or workflow barriers to data collection. Implement QI efforts and provide solutions and alternative approaches to help ensure success

• Ensures data integrity and accuracy of clinical data through the use of data specifications. Works with external data sources to test integrity and accuracy before using for clinical decision making

• Responsible for leading the implementation of QI projects, including; creating timelines, working with managers to assign resources, taking meeting minutes, and generating real time status reports to ensure project goals and timelines are met

• Conducts workflow and process mapping analysis to identify clinical content recommendations for HER

• Participate in and guide the design of large scale predictive and statistical models to predict future trends in cost, patient utilization and performance. Extracts and manipulates large data sets including multiple data types and sources to perform clinical analysis of financial, utilization, and clinical data

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• A strong understanding of and experience working with Native American communities is highly recommended

• Computer skills required: Electronic Medical Record, SQL, Excel, Tableau
