The family of Darren "Scruff" Cook, Sr. would like to thank everyone that participated in the 7th Annual Memorial Scruff Scramble golf tournament. A total of 27 teams took the course to play 18 holes with a variety of fun and unique rules.
Darren played golf for fun and we want to make sure everyone else has as much fun as he would have!
We would like to thank the Red Lake Recreation Center for the donation of trophies. Nei Bottling for the donation of water & pop and Jeff Jourdain for the monetary cash donation. We'd also like to thank everyone that helped at the clubhouse - Wendy, Krystal, Cindy, Faith, Dorla, Darchelle, Autumn and Felicia. Thank you Pat and Mike J for organizing the teams. Thanks to The 89 Bar & Grill and DJ Dave Cronin for hosting the after party! Thanks to everyone that purchased tickets to the money board and most importantly, thanks to everyone that showed up and participated!
This means a lot to our family. This tournament is non-profit and is 100% payback. We plan on hosting this at a different course next year so we can accommodate more players and offer more carts.
