Edward Leroy Fairbanks Jr.

Young warrior Edward Leroy Fairbanks Jr. was born in Minneapolis on May 4, 1989, he began his journey to the spirit world on Saturday August 14, 2021.

Affectionately known to all who loved him as Hooner, he had heart of gold, zest for life and brought smiles to everyone he encountered. Hooner was a proud Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe enrollee, and kept his heritage and traditions close. Hooner loved to play video games, create art by drawing and to hang out with friends & family. He is survived by his Mother Theresa Tapia-Contreras, Sisters Sunni Jean & Shaunte, Children Leilani, Anthony, Kaleb, Isiah & Deja. He is preceded in death by his Father Edward, Grandfather and Grandmother Peter & Joanne Paquette, Grandmother Veronica Jean Fairbanks & Grandfather Kenneth Beaulieu.
