July 14, 1938 - August 17, 2021

Myrna Grace (Richards) Zephier, Wakáŋheža awáŋyaŋke wiŋ, "Caregiver of Children" was born at home in Tuthill, SD to Garfield and Sarah (Little) Richards. Myrna was a mother of 13 children, grandmother to many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren. Myrna was caring, loving, and her home was always open to those in need. Myrna was a care taker of children. She always loved and supported her family.

Preceded in death by her parents Garfield and Sarah Richards; daughters Grace Henry and Stephanie Zephier; sons Patrick Henry and Shane Zephier; grandchildren Marvin Bruce Bordeaux, Corey Zephier, and Cortney Henry.

Survived by daughter Lugene Flores, son Joseph Henry, daughters Jacqueline Henry, Loretta Zephier, Marion Delgado-Zephier, Shiela Zephier, Tammy Zephier, Dakota Zephier and son Brandon Zephier and care taker and daughter in-law Lillian Gay.

Traditional funeral service for Myrna Zephier will be Tuesday, August 24 at 6:00 PM at Calvary Episcopal Church – Tio Spaye Wakan in Sioux Falls, SD. Janice Bad Moccasin will be the Spiritual Advisor.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 24 from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM at Calvary Episcopal Church – Tio Spaye Wakan.

Honorary casket bearers will be any and all who loved Myrna

Casket bearers will be Robert Henry, Robert Henry Jr., Chaske Henry, Tony Zephier, Azriel Zephier and Vincent Phomsoukha.

Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted MN assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
