Jean Renee (Knight) Seymour

Jean Renee (Knight) Seymour

October 27, 1970 ~ July 30, 2021 (age 50)

Jean Seymour was the most caring and loving mother, wife, best friend, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and grandmother. She was a lifelong resident of Minneapolis - she started her journey to the spirit world on July 30th, 2021, at the young age of 50, from North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN.

Jean, AKA 'Mama Jean', was born October 27th, 1970, to Patricia (DeFoe) and Richard Knight in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated with Honors from 'The City', she had many jobs and duties, but her main job was being the very best mother us boys could have ever asked for. She was most definitely the anchor and glue that made and held us men down and together. Jean was loved by many and seen as a mother to many others. On May 21st, 1999, she married her Middle School sweetheart. The most important things to her were her five grandchildren. She was always thinking of everyone else and always such a kind, genuine and generous person, surprising her loved ones with gifts. Jean was the easiest person to talk to and had a way of making you feel comfortable with no judgments. Our beloved was truly a beautiful person inside and out she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. We will forever love her beautiful heart and soul. Rest in Paradise.

Mama Jean is survived by her parents; Pat and Richard Knight, husband; William Seymour, her children; Danny Allen Story, Zachery James and Nicholas Sonny Seymour, her grandchildren; the twins, Madison and Nevaeh, Danny Story, Jr., Aryn Jo and Kylah Rayne Seymour, her sisters; Lisa, Lynn and Terri, her in-laws; William and Jackie Seymour and many aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Family that welcomes Jean to the spirit world are her grandparents, a brother in-law and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family members.
