Statement by Ramona Dohman, U.S. Marshal for the District of Minnesota:

Eric Reinbold, 44, a man being sought by the U.S. Marshals Service, Pennington County and Red Lake County Sheriff’s Offices and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, as the primary suspect in the July 9 death of His wife in Oklee, Minnesota, was captured overnight. Deputy U.S. Marshals from the USMS Special Operations Group and the District of Minnesota arrested Reinbold without incident in a rural wooded area north of Oklee after a SOG tactical K9 alerted on his location.

Reinbold was wanted on a homicide warrant after being accused of stabbing to death Lissette Reinbold.

Reinbold had a criminal record that included charges of bomb makings. A federal warrant for violations of terms of his supervision was issued in July to aid in finding him.

USMS SOG deputy marshals joined the search for Reinbold on July 11, augmenting a network of federal, state and local law enforcement officers.
