Position Title: Technology Support Technician

Supervisor: Tech Coordinator

Terms: Fulltime – 214 day contract - Exempt

Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or Associates degree, Low voltage license or experience preferred; Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician Certification (MCDST), trade school or college equivalency is preferred not required. Experience in a related field. Have a valid Minnesota drivers' license.

Position Overview (Basic Purpose of Position):

The Primary focus of the position is to provide direct support for computer end users in district buildings. Closing tickets assigned by the district coordinator that may have to do with computer, smartboard, printing services, windows-based software support along with all other district software. Installation of smartboards and other audio-visual devices in the district.

Additional purposes of position is to provide technology support to schools in the assigned School District Regions and serve as a technology resource in assisting the Technology Office in finding new solutions to the Red Lake School District's technology challenges. Installation of audio-video equipment purchased by the district.
