Goff Public offers pro bono services to organizations working to achieve racial equity

Applications open through Aug. 31

ST. PAUL, Minn. – July 21, 2021 – Goff Public, an independent communications agency, is offering pro bono services to Minnesota-based nonprofits and advocacy organizations working to achieve racial equity within the community. From developing communications strategies to advocating for legislation at the state Capitol, Goff Public seeks to support organizations that are striving for constructive change.

Organizations that are interested in Goff Public’s pro bono services can apply online at goffpublic.com/pro-bono-2021 by Aug. 31. All organizations that apply will be contacted by Sept. 30.

“The past year has brought necessary and renewed focus on racial disparities and systemic racism,” said Jennifer Hellman, chief operating officer and principal at Goff Public. “There are so many outstanding organizations doing important work these areas. The goal of our pro bono program is to use our public relations and public affairs expertise to support and amplify work underway.”

Goff Public donates at least 5% of its pre-tax earnings annually to nonprofit organizations through donations, pro bono services and employee volunteer time. Over the past year, the company has helped organizations address racial disparities through a variety of pro bono work, including supporting projects of the Jugaad Leadership Program, Lake Street Council, ServeMinnesota and The Sanneh Foundation.
