POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Under the general supervision of the Surveillance Manager, Surveillance Investigator is responsible to oversee assigned to protect the security of operations for Seven Clans Casinos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position conducts investigations and provides a wide variety of video camera surveillance support. Operates equipment and monitors gaming operations and cash control activities. Responsible for initiating investigations into potential irregularities involving gaming and other assets. Performs all functions in accordance with applicable federal/state/local laws and gaming regulations, the mission and objectives of the Red Lake Nation, as well as established policies, procedures and controls.

o Conducts investigations into all casino related accounting activities including gaming machines, change booths, all cashiering operations, count rooms and fill bank.

o Operates Surveillance video monitoring equipment as assigned.

o Coordinates investigations with appropriate finance and accounting personnel and Security Investigator when required.

o Maintains liaison with local law enforcement agencies and other casino investigative units.

o Provides observational security in the casino and related public and support areas pursuant to departmental operating procedures.

o Maintains and enforces internal gaming and other security regulations.

o Completes security incident reports.

o Reports to work, takes authorized breaks, and completes shift as scheduled. Notifies supervisor in accordance with procedures when unable to do so.

o Uses equipment and supplies as required to ensure standards are maintained in a safe manner.

o Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.

o Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or GED with experience preferred.
