April Joy St. Pierre was born on April 22nd, 1961 at Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake, ND. On July 6, 2021 she began her journey to the spirit world while surrounded by her loving family ending her courageous battle with cancer.

Per her request, we will only be doing a Funeral Service which will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Larry Thiele officiating. A Graveside Service and feed to follow at the St. Thomas Presbyterian, Raven Hill Cemetery, Crow Hill, rural Fort Totten ND.

April grew up in the Crow Hill area in with her nine other siblings. When she was young girl, they moved to the Fort Totten area. In 1982 she met the love her life, Bob St. Pierre. They then moved back to Crow Hill, where she grew up in her earlier years, were married and raised 3 beautiful children, Darcy, Crystal & Felicia.

Her life was filled with her children and grandchildren that she adored so much. She always had the brightest smile when the grandkids were over. She loved her family dinners/cookouts; loved being active with the kids.

April enjoyed going to the casino and gambling, she loved traveling to other casinos in the surrounding area.

She also enjoyed going to pool tournaments with her husband Bob. Together they shared a love for classic cars. She was an avid reader, loved her puzzles, and couldn't go a day without being on Facebook.

She pursued her education at Little Hoop (CCCC), obtaining her two degrees. She worked within various entities for the Spirit Lake Tribe, putting her heart and soul into whatever job she was doing, until her sickness forced her to retire. She spent the remainder of her life in Crow Hill enjoying family cookouts and eating watermelon with her wonderful grandbabies by her side.

We sure are going to miss our glue to our family, our rock.
