Taylor Sharee Whitefeather "E'yanimweweyashik" (Thunder Sounding Away Woman) of the Bullhead Clan, of Red Lake, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021. Taylor was born July 19, 1997, to Dustin Perkins and Melissa Whitefeather in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She grew up in Ponemah, MN where she went to elementary school. Taylor attended middle school and high school in Red Lake, and later she worked at Seven Clans Casino in Thief River Falls. What she enjoyed most was that the coworkers on her shift became family to one another and called themselves the Thief River Family.

Taylor is remembered as a quiet person until she got to know you, and then she was sociable and loved to make you laugh. She loved to shop, especially at Target and online with Amazon. She enjoyed gambling, playing Xbox with her Xbox friends, and was a great Pokemon fan. She liked to go for rides and she loved to babysit. More than anything, Taylor adored her nieces and nephew.

Taylor will be greatly missed by her mother and father; sisters Nicky Whitefeather (Cedrick Martin Sr), Miley Whitefeather, Jada Perkins, and Laney Perkins; nieces Valerie, Haisley and December; nephew Cedrick Jr; special cousins Maria Whitefeather, Athena Cloud, Thyria Whitefeather, and Lailah Cloud; grandfather Roderick Whitefeather Sr.; significant other Khiana Lussier; and her beloved companion Lucy. Welcoming Taylor to the spirit world are her cousin Tyler White; uncle Roderick Whitefeather Jr; grandparents Gloria Perkins, Kenneth Johnson, and Carol Whitefeather; and great-grandmother Genevieve Adams.

A wake for Taylor will begin on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 6:00pm at the Boys and Girls Club, Ponemah MN, and will continue until her service on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11:00am. Zac Earley will serve as spiritual leader. Pallbearers will be Ed Perkins, Shadow Whitefeather, Herb Nelson III, James Cloud III, Kendall Whitefeather, and Cedrick Martin. Alternates will be Luke Kingbird and Dallas Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Shirl White, Sue Ann Crowe, Khiana Lussier, Lisa Whitefeather, Billie Jean Perkins, Branigan Patterson, Lakota Whitefeather, Cathleen Nelson, Quentin Nelson, Damian McGraw, Lonny Kingbird, Rhianna Cloud, Shanna French, Lindsay Johnson, Jerdon Whitefeather, Alicia Maxwell, Drake French, Angel Stillday, Melissa Brun, and Maria Auginash. Interment will follow at the Whitefeather Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah, MN.
