Alivia Jean Neadeau, age 68, passed away on June 27, 2021, at the Red Lake IHS Hospital in Red Lake, MN. Alivia was born in Red Lake on April 14, 1953, to James and Katie (Sayers) Neadeau Sr. She graduated from Red Lake High School and attended vocational training as a cook. Alivia worked various jobs growing up including as a cook in the IHS kitchen and later at Seven Clans casino for several years until she resigned for health reasons.

Alivia loved to be around her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her twin sister. She also loved to go to different casinos for her favorite game "Keno." She loved to travel, go to rummage sales, and thrift shop for her million purses. She loved to be on the phone, texting and sending emoji's when she first learned how. Once she discovered Facebook, she loved everyone with all of her "I Love You's". Alivia loved to cook and raise heck with her co-workers. She had a nickname for everyone. She loved life up until she lost her son Eric. She was a foster parent and loved the kids she took care of. She loved to play Yahtzee with her friends. She loved being cared for by her special nurses Kendra and Erica (granddaughters).

Alivia will be greatly missed by her daughters Janet (Clarence) Drouillard, Tammi (Steve) Johnson, and Sheila (Ben) Neadeau; her special son Kyle and special daughter Kayla; twin sister Allura May; and brother Leon Neadeau. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, ten brothers, her only son Eric James Neadeau Sr., and grandsons Jerick Neadeau and Karson Joseph Brun-Neadeau.

A wake for Alivia will begin Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at 1:00pm at the Red Lake Center, and will continue until her service on Thursday, July 1, at 1:00 PM. Fr. John Christianson will officiate. Pallbearers will be JR Sayers, Donald Good, Mike Good, Jesse and Justin Neadeau, Josh Neadeau, DaSean Stately, DeAndre Stately, Devin Neadeau, Ramon Sayers, Clayton Cook Sr., and Bill Thunder. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andrew Neadeau, Georgiana Jourdain, Kim Schoenborn, Allison Cook, Becky Cook, Mary Omen, Jean Donnell, Peggy Donnell, Emily Parkhurst, Mallori Brun, Raynelle and Ravonna Roberts, Sheri Good, Linda Lussier, Ruth, Patricia, Laurie and Marybeth Neadeau, Janna Desjarlait, Kim Cook, Donna Spears, Diane Roy, Karen Ramirez, Jan Martin, Lylah May, Tim Barrett Sr., Karen Neadeau, Connie Neadeau, Daniel Neadeau, Brenda Johnson and Shaleigha Strong. Interment will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Red Lake, MN.
