Geoffrey Scott Leftbear, 28 of Woodlake ND passed away Thursday, June 17th, 2021, rural Warwick ND.

Geoff was born February 5th, 1993 in Devils Lake ND, the son of Susan Leftbear and Steven Redfox Sr. He grew up in the Woodlake Area and attended the Four Winds Community School. He played football and basketball throughout his school years. He then graduated with the Class of 2011 from Four Winds High School.

After high school, Geoff had various jobs with the Spirit Lake Casino, Walmart, Woodlake Rec., Spirit Lake Employment and Training and Spirit Lake Transportation. He was also an assistant coach for 7th grade football and basketball at Four Winds Community School.

In June of 2013, Geoff and Samie brought Abria Lynn home from the hospital, and together they started their family. Then in January 2016, they officially adopted Abria into their family. Abria Lynn Joramo-Leftbear is the name she picked for herself. Geoff spent most of his time with his daughter. She loved and adored her Dad very much. He was so proud of her in everything that she did. Every sport she joined he was there, he wouldn't miss it for the world.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and younger cousins. Playing sports and family cookouts is what he enjoyed, also playing softball in men's league and coed. He was always ready to guide his siblings and cousins to do better in life and in everything they do. Geoff was also a true Vikings fan. He always watched them play, even got the chance to attend a game.

Geoff will be greatly missed and loved by everyone who knew him.

Geoff's loving family include his mother Susan (Curtis) Leftbear; father Steven Redfox Sr.; daughter Abria Lynn Joramo-Leftbear; sisters Erica Redfox and Sarah Redfox; brothers Kyle Langstaff, Peter (Mchll) Charboneau, Joe Charboneau, Steven Redfox Jr., Fredrick (Riah) Redfox, Jonathan Redfox, Talin Redfox and Baby John Tollefson; special nephew Hayden Wade Redfox; nieces Kyrie, Sadie and Andrea Langstaff; nephews Steven Redfox III, Theo Charboneau, Kaiden, Kyle Jr., Pierce, Felix and Kalum Langstaff; maternal grandmother Bonnie Leftbear; paternal grandmothers Alberta Redfox, Hilda (Louis) Garcia, Sharon (Albin) Georgeson and Geraldine Redfox; maternal grandfathers Lincoln Redroad, Daniel Redroad, Clarence (Isabel) Leftbear; maternal aunts Cathy (Isaac) Leftbear, Roberta Leftbear, Lisa Georgeson, Samantha (Richard) Leftbear, Leann (Corey) Leftbear, Alicia Leftbard, Felicia (Andrew) Leftbear, Chris Redroad, Kelly Redroad, Jennifer (Delson) Leftbear and Robyn (Miles) Thompson; maternal uncles Blaine, John, Ryan and Lanny Leftbear, Kashton Keja Sr., Robert Redroad Jr., Casey Redroad and Robert (Synthia) Redfox; paternal aunts Mary (John) Tollefson and Amy Redfox; paternal uncles Wade Longie and Clarence Longie; maternal great grandmother Pauline Myrick.

He was welcomed into Heaven by his Creator and maternal grandfather Robert Redroad Sr., maternal grandmothers Catherine Thompson and Beatrice Joramo, maternal great grandmother Bertha Demarce and great grandfather Frank Demarce, paternal grandmothers Elizabeth K. Redfox and Annie Redfox, paternal grandfathers Archie Redfox Sr. and Robert Redfox Sr. and maternal cousin Bol Deng.

The Wake will be held at the Woodlake Recreation Center, Tokio ND on Thursday, June 24, 2021 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a time of prayer and remembrance at 7:00 p.m. The procession to Tokio will leave on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. from the City Plaza, Devils Lake.

Funeral Services will be hel dat the Woodlake Rec. on Friday, June 25th at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Larry Thiele officiating. Geoff will be laid to rest in the Bdecan Presbyterian Cemetery.
