July 11, 1940 ~ June 10, 2021 (age 80)
Patricia A. Bauer, 80, of Blackduck, MN died Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church, Blackduck with Pastor Anne Meredith officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Blackduck.
Patricia Ann Aamot was born July 11, 1940, in Langdon, ND to Arthur and Martha (Lund) Aamot. She grew up and attended school in Arvilla, ND thru 4th grade. The family moved to Larimore, ND where Patricia graduated from Larimore High School in 1958. Pat married Clinton Bauer June 29, 1958, in Larimore. They lived on the farm in Blackduck before moving to Minneapolis where they lived for 11 years. They bought a hobby farm in Lino Lakes and in 1969 they moved back to Blackduck and purchased the Busy Corner Store, which they operated for 42 years. They started Wagon Wheel Drive-In at Busy Corners and operated a restaurant in Kelliher. Pat enjoyed dancing, singing, embroidery, playing cards, and sneaking off to the casino, but most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Randy (Teri) Bauer of Blackduck, Lynn Bauer of Pillager, Lori (Grant) Mistic of Puposky and Kelly (Gillian Reynolds) Bauer of Minneapolis; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lila Long of Blackduck, Joanne Bauer of Blackduck, Charolett Bauer of Bemidji and Darlyne Aamot of West Fargo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton C. Bauer; parents, Arthur and Martha Aamot; brother, Richard Aamot; sister, Ellen Rosson; grandson, Chris Bauer and great-grandson, Garrett Larson.
Memorials preferred to Sanford Home Care & Hospice.
