PROGRAM COODINATOR
RED LAKE NATION BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

PRIMARY FUNCTION
Coordinates the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of specific program(s) for youth between the ages of 6 and 18 within a designated Club. Provides leadership and supervision to assigned program and volunteer staff. Plans activities and facilitates programs for groups of youth in assigned specific program areas. (STEM, Art, Sports/Athletics, Education). Other duties include writing program reports, supervising youth, and maintaining a professional relationship with all Club members and their families. Reports to the Unit Director of Ponemah Boys & Girls Club, Full-time position with benefits, Salary; DOQ
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Ensures that all programs and activities occur daily as scheduled
• Be able to gather and appropriate number of Youth to participate in club activities in group settings
• Able to facilitate ''On the Spot Fun'' activities when needed
• Provide guidance and role modeling to Club members
• Supervise Club members in a program area by positioning yourself in program area to continually monitor and supervise the safety and behavior of Club members
• Discipline policies are enforced for each program
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have High school Diploma or GED
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance
• Minimum of one-year experience working with youth between the ages 6-18 in education, recreation and/or social services setting preferred
• Ability to present a positive and professional image of the Red Lake Nation Boys & Girls Club. Ability to plan, develop, and implement effective programs and activities
• Excellent communication skill in both oral and written
• Attendance punctuality are required
• Abide by the Red Lake Nation Boys & Girls Club Zero Tolerance Policy
• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check
