Jennifer May Urrutia, age 37, of Bemidji / Red Lake, MN, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Jenny was born on January 22nd, 1984 to Gloria Jean May and Raymond Urrutia Sr. In Bemidji, MN. After her mother passed away, she was raised in Red Lake, MN by her "Ma", Melinda May. Jenny attended school in Red Lake, MN, Blackduck, MN, and attended college in Phoenix, Arizona. Jenny will be remembered as a funny, loving, and caring person who always told it as it is. She loved spending time with her kids, Karma (her best friend), Geoffrey, Riley, and her partner Alfred "Doral" Pryor. She also loved to visit and spend time with her relatives and many friends. Jenny had an unforgettable personality and sense of humor that will be missed by everyone who was blessed to be a part of her life. Jenny loved to travel and made many friends throughout the United States. She also spent time in the Peace Corp. All who knew Jenny, knew how special she was and will miss her dearly.

Jenny is survived by her children: Karma, Geoffrey, and Riley; her Partner, Alfred "Doral" Pryor; Brothers: Rob May, Corey May, Jonathan Mountain, Dominick Johnson, Josh Desjarlait, and Ray Urrutia Jr.; Sisters; Cora Rosebear, Polly Desjarlait, Samantha Jackson, Alicia May, Laureen May, and Shalea Urrutia; father, Ray Urrutia Sr.; Aunts: Karen May, Carol May, Ruth Whitefeather-May, Laurie May, Diane May, and Thelma May; Special Nieces and Nephews: Aliyah May, Charlie May, and Henry May; as well as many other nieces and nephews, and many, many cousins!

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Jean May; her Mom who raised her; Melinda May; Uncles: William "Bill" May and Herb May; Aunts: Marilyn May and Roxanne May; Grandfather; Herbert "Zemo" May and her Paternal Grandmother, Josephine Kingbird Johnson; Paternal Grandfather; Benito Urrutia; Sister; Natasha Johnson; Nephews: Simon Pacheco and Davis Rosebear Sr.; Cousins: Jeremy Kingbird, Allison May, and Amy Raincloud.

The wake will begin at Noon on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at the Red Lake Center in Red Lake, MN and continue until the service at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, June 13, 2021 with Father Jerry Rogers officiating. Pallbearers will be: Chad Rosebear, Daris Rosebear, Jordan Kingbird, Trevor Lussier, Dallas Martin, Martin Raincloud Jr., Ethan May, and alternates; Willy May Jr., Jaycee May, Brett May, Maynard "Junior" Cloud Jr., and Daniel "Charlie" May.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bev B. Morrison, Jessica Redeagle, all of her nieces and nephews, and all of her first cousins. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Red Lake. Arrangements provided by Whispering Pines Funeral & Cremation Service, Walker, MN.
