Rebecca Marie Mitchell, age 67, of Cambridge, MN passed away in her home on May 5, 2021.

Rebecca was born on March 6, 1954. She lived in Minneapolis in her early life. She married Dick Mitchell in a traditional ceremony by Dakota spiritual leader Amos Owen. She was a nurse at the Red Cross Blood Bank. She studied Law Enforcement and was a Police Reserve officer at many events in Minneapolis. They moved out to Cambridge. She worked for 25 years at the Hinckley casino, and retired from there. She raised many of her siblings. We will miss her dearly. She is survived by many family and friends. We especially would like to recognize her sister Kathy Mitchell, who she raised like a daughter, her son William Horwedel and her good friend Marlene Schulman.

A Celebration of Life gathering was held on Friday May 7, 2021 at a family member's home. Jerry Dearly officiated. Interment will be at a later date.
