Vivian "Vivi" Aubrey Staples, 18 months old, unexpectedly journeyed to the spirit world on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021 from her home in Walker, MN. She was born October 28th, 2019 in Bemidji, MN to Vanessa Goose and Zachary Staples.

Vivi was always a very happy, expressive and friendly baby. She loved being around her siblings and her family. Vivi's favorite things to do were being outside, playing with her wagon, going for car rides and dancing to music. She was very smart; always mimicking facial expressions and gestures. She loved snacking on sweet potato tots, pretzels, Cheeto paws, blueberries, bananas, cheerios, and mac n' cheese. Vivi never went anywhere without her favorite stuffed sloth named Ugly and her baby shark blanket. When she wasn't busy helping her mom, she was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Minnie's Boutique or Moana, her favorite movie. Her smile will be forever missed.

Family that will care for Vivi in the spirit world are her great grandma; Bonita Bruce, great aunt; Tina Jones and cousin; Wayne Goodman.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her mother and stepdad; Vanessa Goose and Anthony Smith, brother; Landon, sisters; Kiera and Kaitlyn, grandmother, Jeanne Goose, grandfather; DuWayne Jones, aunties; Tiffany and Ramona Goose, uncles; Richard Tallman and Anthony Goose, numerous cousins, other family members and her little friends.

An overnight wake for Vivi will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 7th and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Saturday, May 8th all being held at the Onigum Community Center in Onigum, MN. Allen Hardy will be her Spiritual Advisor. Helping to lay Vivi to rest are Alexander Negrette, Richard Tallman, Landon Libby, and Calvin Norcross. Alternate pallbearers are Timothy Tallman and Levi Burris. Her honorary pallbearers are Shanna Negrette, Mona Yanez, Ramona Goose, Danita Bruce, Carrie Bruce and Maria Tallman. Interment will be in the Old Agency Catholic Cemetery at Old Agency, MN following her Saturday services.
