Louis "Lou Dogg" "Gaazhagens" Kingbird, age 27 of Cloquet, died Saturday, May 1, 2021 in his home. He was born on November 3, 1993 in Duluth, MN to John Diver and Ricka Kingbird. Lou Dogg loved fishing, the outdoors, and working out. His passion was working at the Mashkawisen Treatment Center helping people with addictions.
Lou Dogg was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Warren Greenleaf and John Diver, Sr. Lou Dogg is survived by his father, John Diver, Jr.; his mother, Ricka Kingbird; his son, Ozzie Martineau; brother, Cody Urban; sister, Dayanna Greene; best friends Tommy Garza and Justin O'Leary; numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins.
A Traditional Wake will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday May 5, 2021 on the grounds of the Language Learning Cultural Center, 1711 Animikii Road, Cloquet, MN. The Traditional Service will continue at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021 followed by the burial in New Holy Family Cemetery.
