Vernon William McDonald, Age 63, was born at the U of M on April 15, 1958 in Minneapolis, MN. He has journeyed to the spirt world from the same hospital that he was born on April 22, 2021. He is the son of Harriet Irene Denomie. He was a very strong person with a positive outlook on life. His sense of humor could light up a room. He has impacted more people than the world could ever know. He was an expert at cribbage and various other games. He would often let his opponents win a game or two. He really enjoyed road trips. You could often find him playing the Mermaid machines at NLC, his home away from home. He also loved the North Shore and frequented the Grand Portage area. Vernon was very generous and family oriented. He gave joy to hundreds of family members and friends. He will be greatly missed and always loved!

The family he is now resting with are his mother Harriet Denomie, daughter Lynette McDonald, sister Debra McDonald; other family Kay McDonald, James Denomie, Lillian Reese, Jeremee Kraskey

Those he leaves behind with wonderful memories are his true love Yvette Kraskey, son Vernon (Sarah) McDonald, grandchildren Juliana, Raeana, Kaylanda, Levi, Anjeni & Miichan; Aunt Vivian (John) Harvath; sisters Dorothy Denomie, Dawn Denomie; brothers James Denomie, Richard Denomie; many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Casket Bearers were Greg Banks, Jeff Drew, Sheldon Drew, Sergio Garcia, Vernon McDonald II and Jared Trogdon.
