Melanie was born on June 14, 1986, in Bemidji, MN the daughter of Alberta Benais and Leonard Cloud, Jr. She loved spending time with her family and friends and most of all her children. She was always happy and a very talkative person and always checked on everyone to see how they were.

She was preceded in death by her mother Alberta Benais, father Leonard Cloud, Jr., brother Donald Sayers Jr., grandmother Dorothy Benais.

Active Casketbearers will be: Dylan Benais, Paul Sayers, Julian Benais, George Benais, Eagle Lajuenesse, Derek Paddy, Douglas Beaulieu, Jr., and Emilio Mendoza.

Honorary Casketbearers will be: Lauren Benais, Kendra Cloud, Karen Cloud, Lorena Lyons, Darcy Lyons, Cindy Ryan, Sherrill Stillday, and Tara Ryan.

Memorial services will be held at noon, Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Little Rock Center in Red Lake with Fr. Jerry Rogers officiating. A wake will begin at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Little Rock Center and go until the time of service on Saturday. Interment will be at the Family Burial Grounds in Red Lake, MN.
