Temporary detour of Highway 200 in Mahnomen starts Tuesday

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. - On Tuesday, April 20, weather permitting, motorists will encounter a temporary detour of Highway 200 in Mahnomen, as railroad crews complete repairs at the crossing. Traffic will be rerouted to County Road 20/North Main Street and Washington Avenue. The work is expected to take several hours to complete.

MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, and reminds them to slow down in the work zone and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
