Philomene "Mousey" R. Armstrong

Philomene “Mousey” Armstrong, age 74, of Minneapolis Journeyed to the Spirit World on Monday, March 22, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on October 20, 1946 in Redby, Minnesota the daughter of Daniel Raincloud Sr. and Frances “Fannie” Robertson.

She was formerly employed at Aimco Property Management Company and retired from there.

She attended Red Lake Elementary School and Marty Indian School in Marty, South Dakota.

“Mousey” enjoyed playing games with her sisters, watching The Minnesota Twins, puzzles, going to the casino, family gatherings, spending time with family and friends and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons: John (Isabelle) Wind Jr. and Charles Wind; a daughter: Ruth Wind; twelve grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren; a brother: Frank Robertson; sisters: Betty Strong and Rosalyn Keahna; special granddaughter: Makiya Philomene Wind; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her father Dan Raincloud Sr., her mother Frances “Fannie” Robertson, brothers Charles Robertson Sr., Robert Robertson, George Robertson, Albert Raincloud, Bobby Raincloud and Dan Raincloud Jr., sisters Francine Embertson, Ona Kingbird and Chriscynthia Robertson, grandchildren Crystal Stand, Bruce Armstrong Jr. and Racheal Armstrong and great grandchild Angellyn Jackson.

An all night wake will be held on Friday, March 26th, 2021 beginning at 4:00 P.M. at 2526 Bloomington Avenue S. in Minneapolis.

Funeral Services for Philomene “Mousey” Armstrong will be held on Saturday, March 27th at 10:00 A.M. at 2526 Bloomington Avenue S. in Minneapolis. Father Jim Notebaart will officiate. Drum Group “Southside Ramblers”.

Interment Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Casket Bearers will be Avery Wind, Ethan Stand, Wayne Cronin, Tony Rudolph, Ray Robertson, Diago Paquette, Lorenzo Paquette, Deon Wahpepah, Dennis Robertson and John Robertson.
