Michael "Mike" William Carlson, age 58, of Welch, Minnesota journeyed to the Spirit World on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

He was born on October 4, 1962 in Minneapolis the son of Ole and Ida J. (Green) Carlson.

Mike was formerly employed as a welder.

He enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo and most of all being a father and grandfather.

Survived by his children: Tiffany Nicole Walker, Michael Brandon Carlson, Victoria Ashley Carlson, Joshua Caleb Carlson and Holly Carlson; ten grandchildren; brothers: Dale Carlson, Dean Carlson and twin brother Mark Carlson; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Ole and Ida J. (Green) Carlson.

A visitation will be held at the Izaak Walton League of America, Webster, South Dakota on Friday, April 9th beginning at 3:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M.

Funeral Services for Michael Carlson will be held at the Izaak Walton League of America, Webster, South Dakota on Saturday, April 10th at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Valerie Augustine officiating and the Singers will be the St. James Lay Readers.

Interment will follow at The Walker Family Cemetery in Waubay, South Dakota.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be All his loving family and friends.

Casket Bearers will be Mark Carlson, Michael B. Carlson, Michael Walker, Gabriel Walker, John Long, Skylar Long, Evan Long and Doug Rencounter.

The Chilson Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
