A Year's Worth of Celebrating – All in One Day!

(Red Lake, MN, March 12, 2021) To celebrate all of the holidays missed over the last year due to the pandemic, Red Lake Nation College (RLNC) is hosting a Missed Holidays Mashup Bash on Thursday, April 1 from 4 to 7 PM. The party will be held outdoors, rain, snow, or shine, under a big tent in the RLNC parking lot. The event is open to the public.

Party goers will take turns visiting different booths to celebrate New Year's, Valentine's Day, Mardi Gras, Easter, Earth Day, Independence Day, Birthdays, Halloween, Indigenous People's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! There will be balloons, party hats, games, prizes, music, dancing, and presents. There will also be grilled hotdogs, popcorn, cotton candy, Easter eggs, birthday cake, and Halloween candy. Pace yourself – you are going to want to save room for the pumpkin pie!

To keep the community safe, everyone must continue to adhere to all COVID prevention measures. All staff and guests MUST wear a face mask over their nose and mouth. Individual households should stay together and maintain social distancing from others. Hand sanitizer will be available at each booth. Eating will be allowed in designated areas only.

The College building will remain closed to the public during the event.
