Alvin Lee White (Ginew which means Golden Eagle), 58, of Bemidji, MN died Thursday, March 18, 2021 at his home.

Funeral services are pending for next week.

He was born August 6, 1962 in Bemidji, MN the son of Richard White and Christine Critt. He was raised and educated in Bemidji. After graduating Bemidji High School he served with the US Marines for 6 years before being honorably discharged. He married Margarita Mendoza and they had a daughter, they later divorced. He was a good and loving brother, father and uncle. He had the biggest heart you could ask for if you got to know him. He enjoyed fishing and hanging out at all the behind the scene stuff you would get to see. He worked as a construction brick layer.

He is survived by his daughter, Christine White, a grandson, a granddaughter, daughter Hailey White, siblings, Becky Gregory, Calvin White, James Marvin White, Margaret White Brown, Delia White, and Ben White, foster brother, Raymond Waukazo, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, foster brother Max Lussier, and foster mother Ione R. Clark.
