Laura Ann (Bellanger) Therriault

August 4, 1953 ~ March 4, 2021 (age 67)

Laura Ann Bellanger Therriault, "Wa-sah-ge-winukban" which means "When the sun hits the water and sparkles" age 67, of Cass Lake, Minnesota and the Bear Clan journeyed to the spirit world on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 from Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota. She was born the daughter of Delsie "Dolly" (Hart) and Clement "Clem" Bellanger of Squaw Lake on August 4th, 1953 in Cass Lake, MN.

Laura loved flower gardening, pontoon rides, traveling, elephants and especially her grandchildren. She had a big heart who loved and cared for her family unconditionally. Laura was known for her many friends that she carried within her heart. She loved the lake and had many BBQs at her home that always included her infamous potato salad. Laura loved telling stories about her younger years to everyone that would listen. Her loving aura will be missed by all her family and friends.

Family that Laura is reunited with are her husband; Ernest Therriault, parents; Delsie and Clem Bellanger and other family members.

She leaves behind her children; Wahkuna (Tina), Lucas (Laura), Zachary, Derrick (Jodale) and Supaya Therriault, grandchildren; Cale, Keylee, Tristan, Kora, Keenan, Cooper, Callan and Kalilah Therriault, Damien, Liliana and Carlos Robinson and Keegan Dreher, siblings; Viola, Marcella and Wanda Bellanger, Julie Marotta and adopted sister Linda Zeller, many nieces, nephews, relatives and too many friends to mention.

Wake services for Laura will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10th and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Thursday, March 11th all to be held at the Squaw Lake Fire Hall in Squaw Lake, MN. Zac Earley will be her Spiritual Advisor. Helping to lay Laura to rest are Julian Dreher, Joshua Redday, Isaiah Redday, Brian Hauer, Kenneth Goggleye and Cale Therriault. Her honorary pallbearers are all her family and friends. Interment will be in the Bellanger Family Cemetery at Squaw Lake, MN immediately following her services. The family would like to send a special thank you out to Jason Hart.
