Lori Renee Gale, 59, of Federal Dam, Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 from her home. She was born in Cass Lake, MN on November 1st, 1961, the daughter of Della (Robinson) and Ronald Gale.
Lori was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly. She was employed with the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe for more than 30 years in various positions and departments. Lori loved to play softball, playing in the Bemidji league and all over the country in various tournaments during her summers. She spent the rest of her free time with her friends, family and especially her grand babies.
She is welcomed to the spirit world by her parents; Della and Ronald Gale, sisters; Patricia Ann and Tracy Lynn Gale, brother; Ronald "Steven" Gale and three beautiful grandchildren.
Those left behind to forever cherish her memory are her three daughters; Linnea and Carla Gale and Stephanie Day all of Federal Dam, brothers; Travis Gale and Troy Bowstring both of Ball Club, her significant other; Leo "Barney" Jones of Cass Lake, 18 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many other relatives.
Wake services for Lori will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 8th and continue until her 1:00 p.m. traditional service on Wednesday, March 10th to being held at the Sugar Point Community Center at Federal Dam, MN. Pallbearers for Lori will be David Chase, Jr., Byron Whitebird, Mike Mitchell, Zachary White, Jerrin Wilson and Sean Monroe. Alternate pallbearers are John White and Ronny Day. Her honorary pallbearers are Alvin White, James Mitchell, Shannon Robinson, Sandra White, Mathew Gale, Beverly Beaulieu and Stella Mitchell. Interment will be in the Battle Point Burial Grounds at Federal Dam, MN following her Wednesday service.
