Beltrami County Public Health to Focus COVID-19 Vaccination Efforts to the 65 and older population

In Beltrami County, we have just a few individuals left to vaccinate who provide health care, work in the early-childhood through grade 12 school system, or provide child care. We will shift our focus to those who are 65 and older.

Cynthia Borgen, the Public Health Director for Beltrami County stated, “We know that many in this age group have already been vaccinated by local healthcare providers and pharmacies, but there are many who have not yet been reached. We want to give everyone in this population the opportunity to get signed up for upcoming vaccination clinics in Beltrami County.”

Because of the uncertain nature of when we receive vaccine, clinics are often scheduled only a few days in advance. If we have a clinic planned, we can schedule individuals directly. If current clinics are full, we will take contact information and call people back when we have appointments available.

To schedule an appointment or get onto the eligibility list, please call Beltrami County Public Health at 218-333-8140.
