COVID TESTING:

The Red Lake Hospital continues to perform regular COVID testing at the remote station outside the hospital with a doctor's order. If you have questions about how to get tested for COVID-19, call the hospital at 218-679-3912 and press 1.

If you feel ill, please stay home if you can to avoid getting others sick. If you have tested positive for COVID or been in contact with a person who is positive, it is VERY IMPORTANT to follow the quarantine and isolation directions from the Contact Tracing Team. This will help control the spread of the virus.

COVID VACCINES:

The Red Lake Hospital is continuing to provide COVID vaccines to the general public. There is a vaccination clinic scheduled for Friday, February 19, 2021 starting at 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Physical Therapy Department. They will be doing 1st and 2nd doses, preferably 2nd doses in the morning. Appointments are not necessary for this clinic. The goal is to vaccinate all community members, ages 18 and older, who would like to be vaccinated. There is an age limit due to the requirements of the Moderna vaccine and the emergency use authorization as set forth by the federal government.

If you have questions about the COVID vaccine, please call 679-0143 to leave your name and number for a call back. This is a message only number and they return most calls the same day, Monday through Friday.

The COVID vaccine is another form of protection for you. And, it is still requested that you take all the safety precautions to protect yourself including wearing a face mask, social distancing and hand washing.
