SSG Kennedy Barrett completes Airborne School in Fort Benning, Georgia

SSG Kennedy Barrett completed Airborne School in Fort Benning, Georgia on February 5th, 2021.

Kennedy is a 2015 graduate of Red Lake High School, Red Lake, MN and was Salutatorian of her graduating class.

She entered the U.S. Army on July 21, 2015, completed her basic training in Lawton, Oklahoma and further training in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Kennedy was deployed to Germany for two years; returning to the U.S in January 2018 and stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky until September, 2020. She is currently stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Kennedy is the daughter of April Barrett and Donovan Wind, granddaughter of Rosie Barrett (Joe Bee), and Carol Charnoski.
