WIND CHILL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST SUNDAY

WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills. Wind chills as low as 50 below zero.

WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota.

WHEN...Until noon CST Sunday.

IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid outside activities if possible. When outside, make sure you wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.

WIND CHILL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST SUNDAY

* WHAT...Life-threatening wind chills as low as 55 below zero.

* WHERE...Northwest and much of central North Dakota, including Williston, Minot, Garrison, and Rugby. This also includes the Tribal Lands of the MHA Nation and Turtle Mountain Chippewa Nation.

* WHEN...Until Noon CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The coldest wind chills will occur during the overnight and morning hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS

Avoid outside activities if possible. When outside, make sure to cover all exposed skin and dress in layers. If you must travel,

carry a winter survival kit and alert others of you travel plans.
