Minnesota's Infrastructure Union Welcomes Favorable Line 3 Decision From State Court of Appeals

Saint Paul, MN – Today, Minnesota's infrastructure union issued the following statement after the Minnesota Court of Appeals rejected a stay motion that would have halted construction of the Line 3 Replacement project.

"Today, the Minnesota Court of Appeals upheld the Public Utility Commission’s decision allowing construction of a replacement for the deteriorating Line 3 pipeline to continue," said Kevin Pranis, Marketing Manager. "The ruling is yet another reminder that the project, which is providing employment to thousands of union workers during the current pandemic, has met every legal test. Now is the time to come together as a state to accept the legitimate outcome of the process and respect the workers who are building a safe and efficient pipeline that will benefit our environment and communities.”
