Marilyn Jean Feather, 58, of Red Lake, MN died Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Sanford Fargo Medical Center in Fargo, ND.
Traditional Services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake, MN. A wake will begin 11:00am, Monday, January 18, 2021, at the Little Rock Community Center and will continue until the time of the service. Interment will be at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.
She was born on March 12, 1962 in Red Lake, MN the daughter of Violet (Roy) Feather and Charles Martin. She was raised in the Little Rock area of Red Lake. She moved to Minneapolis in 1989, and worked for a large bakery. She moved back to Red Lake in 1991. She worked as a cook for a Red Lake Elders Nutrition program, and as a painter for the Red Lake Housing Authority. She moved to Cass Lake for four years and she worked for the Leech Lake Gaming Authority. She returned to Red Lake to be closer to family. She enjoyed going to Casinos, attending Pow-wows, fishing, and visiting with her friends sharing jokes and laughter. She also enjoyed making amazing fry bread that just like her Grandma’s.

Robert (Barbara) Meeshenow,
Charles Martin Jr.,

Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, significant other Lavern “Baysh” Lussier, brother Scott Meeshenow, sisters Donna Prentice, and Charlene Martin.
Active Casketbearers will be: Lacaun Lussier, Darrell Waybenais, Oscar Spears, Daniel McKenzie, Dominic Meeshenow, Jonathon Tangherlini, Elias Miranda, and Ted Russell.
Honorary Casketbearers will be: Maci Headbird, Christina Lussier, Gloria Budeau, Barbara Meeshenow, Jami Littlewolf, Kari Lussier, Wenona Littlewolf, Denena Lussier, Robin Lussier, and Sasheen Waybenais.
