Frank William Neeland, Waasa Animikii "Thunder in the Distance", 65, of Bagley, Minnesota started his journey on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at his home in Bagley. A small family service and ceremony to send him on his journey were held on January 4th, 2020 at Cease Family Funeral Home.

He was born on November 25, 1955 in White Earth, MN to Henry and Freanette (Ortley) Neeland. He attended Bagley School until 16 years of age. He was a self-employed handyman, a ranch-hand, farmhand. In his free-time he enjoyed doing artwork, he was a talented wood carver especially with diamond willow. He liked to travel, he's been all over the United States, you couldn't find him staying in just one spot. Places he called "Home" were White Earth, Fargo, and Port Angeles.

Those left to carry on his memory are his daughters, Jessie Neeland and Alexandra Heinle; his grandchildren, Alysia Burnes, Sheldon Goddard, Christian Hernandez-Trujillio, Esmeralda Peltier, MahpiyaWaniyetu, and Frankie Ann; his sisters, Charlotte Ortley, Marlene McKenzie, Celestia Neeland, Kim Neeland, Lenora Neeland, and Sharon Neeland; his brother, Bradford "Charlie" Neeland; and many other family too numerous to mention, and his friends.

Family welcoming him home to the Spirit World are his parents, Henry and Freanette Neeland; his brothers, Wesley "Jughead" Neeland and Llewellyn "Soozie" Ortley; his nephews, Craig Wade Stevens and Henry Neeland; and his granddaughters, baby girl Shaylee Amerie Neeland and Raina Neeland.

The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
