Tyler Graves, 31, of Red Lake, MN died Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Sanford Fargo Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake, MN with Father Jerry Rogers Officiating. A wake will begin at 2 pm Thursday, Jan 7th at the Red Lake Center and will continue until the time of the services. Interment will be at the Graves Family Burial Grounds in Red Lake. The Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji assisted the family.

Tyler was born January 3, 1990 in Bemidji, the son of Karen Graves. He was raised and educated in Bemidji and Red Lake. He attended the Red Lake Elementary School, Red Lake Middle School and Bemidji Voyagers High School. Tyler obtained his GED in 2015 and went on to attend Bemidji State University and Red Lake Nation College. He worked at Seven Clans Casino in Thief River Falls in various positions. Tyler will be remembered for being kindhearted and easy going. He was a social person who often made his friends laugh with his sense of humor. He always had a good attitude no matter the situation. He enjoyed taking long walks on park trails with his mother. Other hobbies Tyler enjoyed were helping his mother and grandparents with home improvement projects. He had a talent for assembling and fixing computers and gaming systems. He also enjoyed playing the game "Assassin's Creed", going for car rides, listening to his music, getting tattoos and piercings. Tyler was also a self-taught tattoo artist. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle and father, just recently welcoming another baby girl.

Honorary pallbearers are Jeanette Bowstring, Jen Hart, Robin May, Tony Gayton, Tyler Johnson, Phillip "Gunther" May, Cassidy Graves, Sherrel Graves, Chelsey Graves, Oris Lasley, Jr. and William Morrison, Sr.

Active pallbearers will be Rowdy May, Carson Schoenborn, Joey Smith, Jon Auginash, Tyrone Dow, Gary Martin, Jr., and Gordon Roy.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Karen (Gordon) Roy, grandparents Diane and Donald Graves, Sr., uncles Donald Graves, Jr., Luke Paul Graves, son Fhyer Graves, daughters Nykiah Graves, Tylar Graves and Tyleice Graves, special niece Kyleigh Jo Defoe-Graves and numerous friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Chester and Mamie Morrison.
