Lucy "Lucky" Georgianna Aitkin Smith, age 54 began her journey to the spirit world on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Abbott – Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was born on September 1, 1966 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Donald Smith and Loretta Aitkin.

She was a member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Lucy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Lucy is survived by her children: Michael, Season, Autumn, Caitlin, Chelsea, Travis, Ronnee and Isaiah; sister: Vicki; brothers: Gregory and Dennis; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her mother: Loretta Aitkin; father: Donald Smith; sisters: Donalda Smith, Deborah Smith; brother: Michael Smith; niece: Myra Smith and many other loving relatives.

An all-night visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 beginning at 5:00 P.M. at the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Facility Center in Cass Lake, Minnesota.

A Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Facility Center in Cass Lake, Minnesota.

The Spiritual Advisor will be Allen Hardy.

The Drum Group will be the Mahnomen Singers.

Casket Bearers will be Lucy's Loving Family and Friends.

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, Minnesota assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
