A bipartisan agreement to provide COVID-19 relief to the nation and appropriate funding for the federal government has been reached.

The text of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, was released on Monday. Lawmakers in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate are expected to approve the bill later in the day.

"This Act includes the 12 regular appropriations bills for fiscal year 2021, supplemental appropriations for coronavirus response and relief, and other matter," an explanatory statement submitted by Rep. Nita Lowey (D-New York), the outgoing chairwoman of the House Committee on Appropriations, reads.
